On January 1, 2009, the Christian Church in the Upper Midwest began a two-year transition. Knowing that much of the way the “Regional Office” did ministry was based on a model that no longer fit, we began a period where all factors of the way our region does ministry are reconsidered and re-imagined.

- Yes, you can still call 515.255.3168. It goes to Connie Derby Dicks, who mainly works from our new Administrative Office at the Christian Conference Center. You can also call us directly at our individual numbers

- No, the mailbox at “P.O box 41217, 3300 University Ave., Des Moines IA 50311″ is no longer ours. Please send all mail to: 5064 Lincoln St, Newton IA 50208

- “The Christian News” was the region’s newsletter that is no longer in publication. The extreme costs of printing the large-format newspaper were an expense the region could no longer afford as we began the transition process.We do, however, have a monthly e-mail newsletter called the DT Express (stands for “Disciples Together” Express).
