Standing Rock Camp

(Completed 9th - 12th Grade)

In this day and time we need to be intentional about hearing the stories of people whose experiences differ from ours. Standing Rock, North Dakota, is a place where we can do that. Long before a diverse group of people gathered there to stand and work for Indigenous and Environmental Justice, the Standing Rock Tribe called this landscape their home. This summer we will journey to Standing Rock and have the opportunity to hear the stories and the history of the Standing Rock Tribe. We will have experiences that help us learn, grow and build relationships in the midst of the beautiful diversity God has created. This will also be a time and place within our own Disciples of Christ diversity to hear each other’s stories.Cost $230 per person

Session Dates: June 8-15
