Shared Worship Resources
A group of pastors from our region who enjoy working together met recently to plan a common sermon series for the Thanksgiving and Advent seasons. They have decided to share those resources with the wider church. These materials are free for any congregation to use. Coming soon: shared worship resources for Lent in 2023.

“We are so richly blessed! And if we stop and count every gift, we are abounding, overflowing in the blessings God has
given. In this season we’ve been in, where many of us may have been feeling like we’re merely surviving, leaning into
Thanksgiving may just be the very thing we need to move our hearts into the abundance God has for us in this life.”
“Don’t get your hopes up.” That’s the phrase we’ve heard. We’ve probably even said it. But what if we decided to go ahead and get our hopes up? Doesn’t God want us to dream big? To hold onto hope that that there is something great in store for us, and for this world!? Was not God's love for the world so great that God sent the Son among us, so that those
who live in him might not lead a futile and failing existence, but have the blessing of the very undying life of God? Jesus has come to give us hope, and more. Maybe we can get our hopes up? May we be EXPECTANT this season.
